Dr. Fabián Chávez is from Guadalajara, Jalisco. He completed his university degree at the University of Guadalajara and specialized in Otorhinolaryngology and Neck and Face Surgery at the Hospital Civil in Guadalajara. He did a fellowship in rhinology and facial cosmetic surgery with Dr. Armando González Romero, a pioneer in rhinology and facial surgery in Mexico, and Dr. Fabián Chávez has received training with the best surgeons around the world.
He is currently certified by the Mexican Council of Otorhinolaryngology, he is a member of the Mexican Society of Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery, among other societies. Teaching is a fundamental part of medical practice, which is why Dr. Fabián Chávez is continuously involved as a teacher and organizer of courses aimed at learning about rhinology and facial surgery.
He is the author and co-author of different medical articles focused on rhinology and facial surgery, such as the article published in the book “Rinoplastía: Cirugía Plástica, Reconstructiva y Estética con los Maestros” (Rhinoplasty: Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery with the Masters), published by the Federación Latinoamericana de Cirugía Plástica (Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgery) called “Colapso Valvular Secundario a Rinoplastía” (Secondary Valvular Collapse to Rhinoplasty).
